DESCRIPTION:The Government Chief Digital Office (GCDO) in the Department of Internal Affairs recently released a Service Modernisation Roadmap for the New Zealand government\, outlining a series of customer-focused digital initiatives across the public service. We’re thrilled to have Amy Allison\, Director of the GCDO Strategy team join us to discuss the Roadmap and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Amy will highlight the strategic opportunities for New Zealand to leverage global approaches to DPI and deliver modern\, efficient\, data-driven and customer-centric government services that work for all New Zealanders. \nAmy is joined by Pete Herlihy\, Global Lead for Digital Public Infrastructure at AWS\, and Sigurd Magnusson\, CEO of Silverstripe\, for a panel discussion moderated by our CEO Graeme Muller. The panel will explore how the public and private tech sectors can collaborate to drive real change\, drawing on global examples and looking at how New Zealand can lead the way. \nA key feature of the event will be the DPI Experience Hub Demo\, created in collaboration with Pete and Silverstripe. This demo exemplifies how technologies can drive rapid digitisation\, improve service delivery\, and create a unified experience similar to Service NSW and GOV.UK.
