DESCRIPTION:What is Southern SaaS? \nNow in its third year\, Southern SaaS has a simple mission: to inspire\, connect and upskill the leaders of New Zealand’s vibrant and growing SaaS business community. \nThe event brings together a stellar mix of international and local speakers\, and a line-up of invaluable interactive workshops and virtual meeting opportunities. \nRegistrations open on 29 September. Check back then for full speaker and programme details\, and to secure your place. Southern SaaS kicks off on 10 November. \n  \nWhy attend? \nThe international upheaval of 2020 means it’s more important than ever for SaaS leaders to tap into the latest global insights. \nBe part of Southern SaaS 2020 to connect with the information and networks you need to help your SaaS business grow faster: \n\nBe inspired by keynote addresses from international and local SaaS leaders.\nUpskill and gain actionable insights at a selection of workshops run by subject experts.\nConnect with the people\, content and resources that matter and share your learning with others.\n\n  \nThe full speaker and workshop programme will be available here when registrations open on 29 September. Confirmed international keynote speakers include: \n\nMarvin Liao – investor\, advisor\, executive coach and former partner at venture capital fund 500 Startups\, where he ran the fund’s San Francisco-based accelerator programme.\nSandi Lin – CEO and co-founder of Skilljar\, a leading customer education platform used by enterprises to accelerate product adoption and deepen customer engagement.\nJ.Ryan Williams – an experienced builder of sales teams in Silicon Valley who has worked with a range of interesting companies in the SaaS\, advertising\, mobile\, design and healthcare space.\n\n  \nWhat’s different at Southern SaaS 2020? \nAfter sell-out gatherings in 2018 and 2019\, this year COVID-19 has forced us to go virtual. Keynotes from our international and local speakers\, along with the workshops and planned meet-up events\, will be conducted online. \nThe upside\, of course\, is there’s no need to travel to this year’s event\, and the sessions will be available on-demand for those who can’t watch them live. \nThe programme has been expanded this year with a packed schedule of speakers and workshops in the first week (10-12 November) followed by a week of deep-dive workshops (16-20 November) and a week of private appointments to tap into the knowledge of recognised subject experts (23-27 November). \nUnless alert level restrictions prevent it\, we’re also planning regional face-to-face networking events around the country to bring attendees together for some of the keynote sessions. Details will be finalised before registrations open on 29 September.
