SUMMARY:Speech Analysis for Neurodegenerative Diseases and Brain Injuries
DESCRIPTION:International workshop\nJoin us for a dynamic workshop featuring leading experts from the United States and Australia in the fields of speech analysis\, AI and digital health as they share cutting-edge research and future of innovative solutions for neurodegenerative diseases\, brain injuries\, mental health and beyond. \nWe are pleased to announce the hybrid workshop on speech analysis for healthcare. This forum allows researchers and practitioners to explore the latest advancements\, applications\, and potential technologies at the intersection of speech analysis and healthcare. This workshop is organised by AUT’s School of Engineering\, Computer and Mathematical Sciences. The workshop aims to provide an opportunity for participants from academia\, industry and government\, and other related parties to present and discuss the latest advancements\, challenges\, and applications in the intersection of speech analysis with healthcare. \nCall for abstracts\nWe invite practitioners\, researchers and students to submit an abstract (max 300 words) outlining their research for an e-poster session. The abstract should be related to research on applications of AI for neurodegenerative diseases\, brain injuries\, mental health or other health conditions. Both completed and work-in-progress research are welcome. Selected participants should be able to submit a one-slide e-poster and a 3-minute oral presentation to be presented during the workshop. \nDive into the forefront of healthcare innovation at our upcoming workshop\, designed to be a global nexus for researchers\, scientists\, practitioners\, and students. This workshop aims to: \n\nFoster international collaboration and knowledge exchange in AI applications for healthcare\nShowcase cutting-edge research findings and innovations in the field\nProvide a forum for participants to explore recent developments in technology\, applications and solutions\n\nWe invite practitioners\, researchers\, and students to submit abstracts (maximum 300 words) outlining their research for an engaging e-poster session. Abstracts should focus on AI applications in neurodegenerative diseases\, brain injuries\, mental health or other health conditions. Both completed and work-in-progress research studies are welcome. \nHow to submit your abstract\nAbstracts should be up to 300 words\, and must include the title and the presenter’s name and affiliation. \nThe submission process for our workshop will be conducted through EasyChair\, to simplify the submission and review process.\nYou can submit your research papers by visiting the following link below. \nImportant dates\n\nJanuary 18: Deadline for abstract submissions\nJanuary 22: Notification of decision\n\nRegistration\nRegistration types \n\nEarly Bird Registration: 200 NZD\nGeneral Registration: 250 NZD\nStudent Rate Registration: 50 NZD\nOnline Attendance: 120 NZD (This includes virtual access to all sessions and keynotes\, digital workshop materials interactive Q&A and networking opportunities in the virtual platform.)\n\nPlease note that each accepted abstract should have at least one registration paid\, whether online or in-person. Workshop attendance\, lunch\, morning and afternoon teas are all included in the registration fee. \nWe have special rates for group registration.
