DESCRIPTION:Join us for lunch and meet Fiona Bennett from Chapman Tripp and Angela Searle from Baldwins for a fireside chat on legal issues affecting tech businesses. \nFiona is a partner in Chapman Tripp’s Christchurch office. She specialises in corporate and commercial law with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions\, corporate structure\, joint venture arrangements and securities law. Fiona advises a number of early stage companies and technology and software companies\, including in respect of structuring and contractual arrangements. \nAngela has an in-depth knowledge of trade mark law and can provide strategic advice relating to brand protection. Her career of more than 20 years in intellectual property began while Angela was studying towards her conjoint BSc and LLB degrees at Victoria University.
