SUMMARY:THE STATE OF PHISHING Symposium
DESCRIPTION:9 December 2024\, 10am – 5pm\, The University of Auckland \nAI and Phishing \nArtificial Intelligence (AI) tools have emerged as powerful tools in the global fight against phishing. The upcoming State of Phishing Symposium aims to provide an overview of simulation tools\, methodologies\, and AI-driven phishing compliance campaigns developed by various organizations. AI has revolutionised the cybersecurity landscape by enabling machines to simulate authentic cyberattacks and to learn from their experiences. Unfortunately\, cybercriminals have also leveraged these AI tools to exploit IT systems. Conversely\, security professionals and law enforcement have employed them to monitor cyber-attack patterns\, assess future risks\, and anticipate potential attacks. The speakers of this segment will explore the pivotal role of AI in this ongoing battle\, highlighting the dynamic race between the forces of good and bad. \nWe welcome everyone interested in phishing and security. This conference is for anyone in business\, research\, law enforcement\, and\, IT and network security. \nFeel free to reach out if you would like to be a sponsor or require sponsorship to attend the symposium.
