The new financial year is here, and things are already moving fast. Keep an eye on your calendar as our upcoming events start to land.
We’re beginning planning for AusBiotech, and as you know, preparations for BIO USA are well underway – there’s plenty more to come.
With a national election on the horizon, we want to hear directly from our members about what’s important to you. Your voice will help shape our priorities.
We’ve also launched the BioTech New Zealand Member Hub – an exclusive online community designed to help members connect with each other and access member-only events, resources and updates in one place. The Hub runs on Circle (browser + mobile app) and is designed to strengthen connection across Aotearoa year-round. Learn more→. Tell us what features, content, and conversations you want to see – your feedback will guide how it grows. If you’re a member and haven’t received your join link, email membership@technewzealand.org.nz. If you’re not a BioTechNZ member and are interested in joining, click here→.
Planning is also underway for Life Sciences Summit 2027 (18-19 March). We’re putting a call out for ideas and content to shape the program, and I’d love to hear from you. Please email info@biotechnz.org.nz.
And a big shout out and congratulations to Ipshita Mandal-Johnson being named to the World Economic Forum’s 2026 class of Young Global Leaders, an outstanding recognition shared with exceptional under‑40 innovators, public leaders, technologists and creators from more than 50 countries. Learn more→
