Tui is the founder of Bird Island, an innovation practice that designs and delivers programmes, strategies and challenges at the intersection of creativity, technology and systems change. Her work spans AI enabled social innovation, financial capability, Indigenous entrepreneurship, education transformation and creative tech. She also provides strategic support to emerging Māori and Pacific founders, creatives and innovators across Aotearoa. Earlier in her career she led the Māori Enterprise team at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and served as Trade Commissioner in Melbourne. She then directed Creative HQ’s innovation programmes and later establishing Mahuki at Te Papa, the first culture tech accelerator globally, and as Director of Public Engagement at the National Library, supported national storytelling and public experience design. - SIGURD MAGNUSSON
Sigurd is CEO of Silverstripe, and one of its three co-founders. His early leadership at Silverstripe included roles that span programming, strategic sales, and marketing, contributing significantly to the company’s growth. He led multiple key initiatives, including the development and management of the CWP—a cross-government digital infrastructure that supports the delivery of government websites and services. After a successful tenure at Silverstripe, Sigurd moved into the public sector, where he led key environmental policy programmes at the Ministry of Transport and local councils. His experience in both private and public sectors provides him with a unique perspective on how digital technologies can drive innovation and improve public sector services. Sigurd returned to Silverstripe as CEO in September 2024, bringing a renewed vision to drive the company’s next phase of growth. - PRASHANT BAKSHI
Prashant Bakshi is the Deputy Chief Executive, Strategic and Corporate Services at NZQA. He has worked across the public and private sectors in New Zealand, Singapore and India. Prashant has experience leading teams across customer channels, Customer Experience (CX), data science and AI, information technology, and corporate functions including regulatory reviews and digital transformation. Prashant has an MBA from Victoria University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Singapore Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Zoology from University of Mumbai.
