- Ensure clear distinctions between data controllers and data processors to align with established privacy frameworks, such as New Zealand’s Privacy Act (2020) and international standards like the EU’s GDPR.
- Implement robust oversight and review mechanisms to safeguard individual rights and privacy under the proposed legislation.
